Goal Caritas has constantly changed from a Charity based development organization to a People led development in its journey of bringing change in the communities. Caritas has understood the necessity of people’s participation for the change that has to be sustained and over a span of several years has defined the processes in the form of 4 key strategic pillars that are necessary for supporting and capacitating the people to be in the forefront for the change.
4 Key Strategic pillars Empowerment Animation: Empowerment Animation (EA) is fundamentally a process of communities taking complete control of their empowerment processes.
Dialogue: Dialogue invites people to develop new, shared perspectives and ways of seeing and acting.
Volunteerism: Volunteering means commitment to willing service. Volunteer is a person who according to his/her gifts and capacities is able to perform important tasks in the diaconal work.
Sharing Communities: Sharing is another profound diaconal dimension of table communion, where the resources of all forms are being shared.

Safeguarding Policy 

TASOSS has completed the Revisiting and reviewing the progress and scoring on the Policies assessment using the tool, to assess the existing policies for ensuring the Global SG standards. Subsequently the way forward actions were derived. Shared the revised Assessment Scores & relevant documents in which the Self-Assessment was done and scoring was given. Ms.Geetha Rajesh was capacitated and became TOT on Safeguarding policy formulation process and Ms.Beulah is working on incorporating the standards in the TASOSS policies.
