380 Multi stakeholders comprising elected PRI representatives, Standing Committee members, representatives from Village Poverty Reduction Committees, and Representatives from Panchayat level Federations were trained in the development of the Gram Panchayat Development Plan (GPDP). They are actively engaged in the beneficiary selection for the schemes, aware of the approved plan based on their prioritized issues, and proper execution of the approved plan of action in e Gram Swaraj website.
Zonal level capacity building training enabled the point persons and Multi Stakeholders to internalize their role in the development of GPDP. They realized the need for coordinated effort and engaged in the planning, execution, and monitoring of the work towards the road, sanitation and drinking water infrastructure building
Multi-stakeholder engagement helped the vulnerable and marginalized families in 19 Panchayats to access the following Bank loan worth Rs 1,33,86,180; Federation loan worth Rs 3475000 for medical, education, marriage, and construction purposes; Rs 700000 NABARD Loan benefiting 17 members; Scholarship for 36 school students worth Rs 104000; Scholarship for 73 college students worth Rs 160000; Village Level Federation took effort and got Wheelchair from Differently abled welfare schemes and gave loan for 2 physically challenged worth Rs 60000; Free housing scheme for 41 members by the effort of Self Help Groups (SHGs); Toilets for 21 families; Job cards for the MNREGS scheme to the deserving families; Death benefit to 2 members worth Rs 55000 and Rs 312000 for 52 members; Minority schemes for 375 members worth Rs 15,10,000
MSH engagement in the local planning and execution resulted in the management of common property resources viz Canal renovation worth Rs 1115000; 2682 families benefited in Jal Jeevan (Safe Drinking water) scheme; Roads worth Rs 5500000.
